WrestleMania 33 is history and we're back to show-specific PPVs. Up next is WWE Payback, a Raw-based show. Payback has recently been part of WWE's regular rotation since 2013 and while it hasn't really had a gimmick to define itself, it's {mainly|generally|typically} been about trying to bring closure to post-WrestleMania storylines. WWE Payback 2017 Date

The show takes place on April 30, 2017 at the SAP Center in San Jose, California.

The next night on Raw, Jericho announced the rematch for Payback. Unfortunately, Owens and Samoa Joe then {hopped|dived|ran} Jericho {and set|make} him through a table, {creating|triggering} Jericho to sit on the shelf for {a little bit|a little|a tad}.
